Aftercare Guide
Treat your suit with the care and respect it deserves - below are just a few pointers to help you keep your Fox Tailoring suit in top condition...
The lifespan of your suit depends on how often it is worn. Ideally, if you wear a suit 5 times a week, you should have 5/6 suits or 3 suits with extra trousers. The lifespan on trousers is shorter than a jacket.
Suits do not benefit from being dry cleaned too often. Four times a year is adequate and sufficient if worn correctly. Use a specialist dry cleaner and invest in a trouser press or have them sponged and pressed.
Ensure they are covered when not being worn. It helps the fabric to re-cover. Hang spaciously- do not cram in together.
When driving, remove your jacket and hang it if possible or lay flat.
Preferably do not overload pockets - use briefcase or bag if possible
When pressing shirt collars, press from collar points to centre back of collar, especially if non-fused collars.
